Verse session

acrylic on canvas

The dialogue that happens when I create a painting or video allows me to have a conversation between things I know and things I don’t. What I say or express is only half of the picture. The other half, sitting, looking and contemplating what I’m seeing is what interests me and says more about who I am as a human being. The experience of something is more important than the narrative I tell myself. I’m drawn to artists, musicians and people who define space that allows entrance into the work and perception. It is about pure experience that connects me with something I can’t define but beckons attention.
