Stuart Hindle

Sycamore and Blue Sky

Oil on canvas

My inspiration comes from nature itself.  From oceans, forests, mountains and meadows, I look for balanced compositions that enable me to manipulate light, color and depth that draws the viewers into the painting. I call my work "realistic impressionism". My influences are from various impressionist painters such at Klimt, Hasaam, Signac and Pissaro.  Using my photographs as reference and working in oil paints, I use small brush strokes to create texture, pushing colors and contrast to create an original experience with each painting.
