American Buffalo I

Ceramics

I've been hooked on ceramics long before I took my first pottery class.  I love texture and I impress clay slabs with random and intentional objects, creating trays, vases and lamp bases.   Texture is a challenge and joy to glaze, and I seek results that reflect the imprint itself.  For wares base on utility meters, I seek an "almost dirty" distressed look; other wares simply tell me what they should be.  I continue to be captivated and inspired by clay, which is so tactile, manipulative, and defiant!
