I am an abstract artist working in mixed media, typically acrylics and collage, pencils, pastels, and ink. I make my own collage papers to add personal texture to my artwork, using a variety of techniques and non-traditional materials. My practice is largely process-based; that is, the inspiration I get from making art feeds into the process itself. But I am also inspired by shapes and colors I see in nature and in my daily life. My intention is to create artwork that conveys a sense of playfulness and joy to the viewer.
