My education in drawing and sculpture informs my painted works. I make artworks inspired by landscape, human and animal biology. I developed a love for the natural environment early in life and value the time I can be outside, even for a walk. Themes surrounding the survival of the human spirit are central in my work.  Within these serious themes, I strive for an ebullience that offers spiritual renewal.
