I love to work in the gestural style on a large scale – when painting on small surfaces I enjoy mixed media collage work. My paintings overall are defined by bold colors, rich textures, interesting and unexpected lines, shapes and forms. I am obsessed with dripping acrylic and using oil sticks to make marks over a dried acrylic surface. I especially enjoy experimenting with new pigments, tools and techniques.
