My current narrative paintings evoke memories of childhood on my grandparents’ farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I played with the workers’ children, and we were of different races, at a time before the civil rights movement broke down barriers. The memories are of unbound play, not realizing our differences. Other work includes abstracts and small collages. All paintings are in oil, making use of other mixed media.
