Collage Assemblage

Collage Assemblage offers me endless expressive potential! I work in series investigating issues such as forced changes in place over time; disappointment in relationships; cycles of life and other themes that intrigue me. My work is often material driven, so some series are design-based and abstract. I love to mix natural objects with man made ones of plastic and metal. I love objects found in multiples like spools which enable me to explore as many ideas and configurations as I can. My well crafted pieces are small inviting the viewer to closely observe the layers of texture and color I embed in the work. I am proud to be Professor Emerita at NOVA where I taught for 30+ years. I show nationally, and am a Signature Member of the National Collage Society.
